We have room for two good quality Micro layouts not exceeding 6' in length (including fiddle yard) if anyone fairly local would like to participate. An opportunity to display your layout perhaps for the first time at a friendly show held at St Mary's Church and Hall. March & District Model Railway Club will be holding their annual Model Railway Exhibition at the GER Sports & Social Club in Robingoodfellows Lane, March PE15 8HS tomorrow Saturday 21st February 2026. Only £5 entry with under 12's free when accompanied by an adult. Layouts, demonstrations, trade stands and refreshments. Free parking on site and full disabled access. Fenland Oddfellows were shown the M&DMRC club members' layouts along with the club exhibits today (Tuesday 13th January) at March St Mary's Church hall at Westry. It was great for everyone to meet with plenty of chatting, tea & biscuits and discussions about the layouts on show and how they were created.

Following the recent passing of Bob our Chairman we will be continuing with our exhibition that he had been busy arranging so everyone would have an enjoyable day at the GER Sports and Social Club. A couple of changes are that Cambridge Model Railway Club have kindly stepped in to bring their 00 gauge layout East Sternham in place of Layouts4u & HobbyTools 4u. It is with profound sadness that members of the March & District Model Railway Club announce the passing of our valued Chairman Bob Carter on 31st December 2025. Bob was well known and respected throughout the model railway world and as the proprietor of Layouts4U attending many exhibitions across the country. He touched many lives and will be dearly missed.

Thanks to Alan C, Steve C & Ed P (Dave) seeking out tasty goodies & nibbles we had a lovely relaxed & fun social evening last night along with the usual activities of modelling (occasionally) and chatting.
