March & District Model Railway Club, established in 2003, is a voluntary run organisation with the aims of promoting an environment where people living locally can meet other likeminded persons to share and foster interest in model railways, railways and allied pursuits, and in particular socially interact learning new skills, improve knowledge of the hobby with support being encouraged amongst the members of the Club.

To this end, as well as wishing to provide facilities to enable the building of layouts themselves, the Club from time to time promotes demonstrations by members and others on how to construct model railway layouts.

The Club promotes or facilitates educational meetings on both model railways, the history of railways and how they work as transport systems.

The Club holds exhibitions and open days to encourage and foster an interest in model railways.

The Club organises social and educational visits for members to other organisations, preserved railways, museums and other places of interest to the members.

The club meets at St. Mary's Church Parish Hall, Wisbech Road, Westry, March between 7pm and 10pm every Wednesday. The hall has excellent facilities with ground floor and a fully fitted kitchen and disabled toilet.
