Planning for our Exhibition is nearly completed with all traders confirmed and most exhibitors. A full list will displayed shortly on our website, Facebook & UK Modelshops Events Calendar.
Meanwhile a few photographs of Wednesday evenings creations and endeavours:
Alan & Steve C working on how to raise a higher chopper coupling mount to one of their two new locos for Ardgowan. Progress on the harbour with many more details like the rowing boat with pot marker flag buoys, crab & lobster traps and a hungry seagull on the look out for scraps. Keen eyed observers will note the harbour slabs could do with a weeding in between the joints.

George was busy constructing some wagon loads of wooden crates, building roof rafters and piles of wood with the usual red paint (or blue) sealing the ends.

Alastair having constructed two O gauge kits of a garden shed and chicken coop is now in process of painting them for Fenland Yard layout.

Michael's excellent work on changing an inspection coach from standard OO gauge to EM gauge bogies using brass etchings is a work of art. Also to keep himself amused he is building a 2- 2-2 loco kit to haul the coach matching the period he is modelling. Added to that he has just completed a very smart Metcalfe Coaching Inn kit with not one glue mark showing (unlike any of mine!!).

Finally two O gauge locos, a recently purchased Class 37 and a Class 33 of about 10 years waiting, had their identifying numbers and shed codes applied. First time using transfers and with some hesitancy and shaky fingers a great outcome was achieved by Keith & Glyn.
