Over 100 people and families came to view our work, layouts, ask questions and chat at the Open Day in March Scout Hall. There was a real buzz in the hall for most of the day. Both children and adults enjoyed trying to solve the shunting puzzle with the children usually finding the solution fastest!!!! Adam Fairbrother from the Fenland Citizen came along to take photos and chat with the members for next week's newspaper. Many comments and compliments were received about the organisation and presentation of the event with many enquiries about new membership. Attached are a few photographs and an album of all photos will be added to website in next few weeks (when I have time.......)
Prize draw winners: 1st prize of Hornby Peckett 00 gauge loco to T Fulcher of Whittlesey, 2nd prize of Dapol 8 plank O gauge wagon to T Brooking of Downham Market, 3rd prize of large cake to Mr Steppson of March. Congratulations to you all and thankyou to all who purchased tickets.
