Live entertainment including local Teapots Dance Group, free drinks, Tasty Treats from Hot Pots Cafe and free gift bags. An ideal opportunity to get to know your neighbourhood and see what groups and services are available locally. It will be a day of FUN!!!
First up is Bob's Bachmann Class 57 Virgin diesel loco Scott Tracy 57301 named after 1960's classic Thunderbirds TV series. Three Virgin locos became synonomous for rescuing failed trains on the rail system and were nicknamed 'Thunderbirds'.
Luke's Freightliner fitted with a very realistic sound chip.
Glyn's O gauge Heljan railbus with sound.
Another of Bob's Bachmann Underground Ernie series locos bringing a smile as it circles the track with eyes moving side to side behind sunglasses. Hmm, wonder why Bob has his head down in background?
A Dapol O gauge British Railways Terrier with sound and firebox glow.
Peter's Class 66 in EWS maroon & gold livery heading up a train of stone hoppers.
David W's Lionheart 2-6-2 Class 45 loco in British Railways green with later crest. Vehicles forming a short goods are his latest additions of a Pill Box brake van, Catfish ballast hopper, 5 plank open and Presflo cement wagon.
Lenny's O gauge early fuel lorry making good progress.
And finally some photos from our very own intrepid roving photographer Dave R of trains in Zambia.
