New Year Meeting & Exhibition News

First meeting of the New Year and time to commence working on a few gifts received.


David K puzzling over which plastic part fits where on a new 00 gauge wagon kit.


Dave R back from his Asian trip is still working on his castle drawbridge attempting to make the timber look well aged. Quite a few weatherbeaten faces around to draw inspiration from...... Progress is good and the raising mechanism is attached and working.


Richard had some more additions to his TT scale layout with a kit for shop/house on workbench.


Steve is using plaster and polystyrene foam pieces in constructing rocks for the lighthouse to sit on.


Bob's electrical skills have been employed most of the evening trying to find a gremlin within Legion Yard's wiring.


Jerry discovered in his pile of kits a Dapol Kitmaster Lowmac which occupied him trying to locate where all the parts fit. This kit has been around years and still remains very popular.



Finally Keith S has been busy making the Skytrex water crane kit and scratchbuilding a coaling stage for the O gauge Fenland Yard layout.


Don't forget on March 9th 2024 our Annual Exhibition with 21 Layouts of a variety of scales & gauges, 2 Demonstrators, 11 Traders and 5 Societies & Club stands. Will be held at Westwood Community School, Maple Grove, March PE15 8JT with a courtesy bus running between venue and March Railway Station. Price held at £6 (under 16's free accompanied by a paying adult.
