Richard has been patiently waiting for his new Hornby TT:120 set 'The Easterner' since March when he placed the order. It has arrived and members couldn't wait for him to unbox it and get running on a circle of track. Looked and preformed very nicely running quietly until sound was switched on using mobile phone app & Bluetooth for control. A nice size to model in for those with restricted space and perhaps 'older' eyes finding n gauge a little too small.
Bob busy fitting an electronic unit on Nene Sidings shunting layout to dim the LED's in the low relief factory backscene. This is the last job and now ready for exhibition again at Bressingham Steam Museum on Sunday 24th September.
David K making very good progress with his Severn Models finely etched brass 00 gauge office furniture.
Len and Ed still working to sort out the rigging on the 7mm scale coaster for Ardgowan. Note the absence of Alan who first brought up the subject of incorrect rigging!!
Alastair was busy making individual flower stems for the station planting on the O gauge layout.
Some shots of how Keith C has been weathering lorries and railway wagons in readiness for the brickyard 00 gauge club layout.
Note the 'as new' lorry flatbed in comparison to the well worn look Keith has applied.
The Itters Brick Company Limited were the owners of the Kings Dyke brickyards many years ago and had their Private Owner marked railway wagons for transport of bricks. Keith has loaded the wagon and weathered it using photographs of the original.
