Dave R has completed his beacons (now illuminated with flickering led's) and pieced all the component parts together for a photoshoot so we can all see his progress. The texturing on the DAS clay walls looks really effective. Next job will be the drawbridge and we are pondering on what methods Dave will use to construct the Portcullis. Not so sure how the dog/llama/sheep managed to find his way to the greenery at base of walls unless using the leaking old boat???
Other activities during the evening included the coastal vessel being prepared for having some waves added to the recently painted water in Ardgowan's harbour, Alistair placing slate on the O gauge engine shed, preparing Nene Sidings layout for the Friends of March Railway Station exhibition, rolling stock improvements and electrical work on a point control box.
